The 10th International Congress on Automotive will be held in Pitesti, Romania, betwen 2-4 November 2011.

The CAR International Congress is a traditional scientific event initiated by University of Pitesti in 1978.

· The third edition: 1985, October 17 – 19, 102 papers, 124 participants.

· The sixth edition: 1994, November 3 – 5, 121 papers, 165 participants.

· The seventh edition : 1997, November 6 - 8, 129 papers, 189 participants.

· The eighth CAR Conference: 2000, October 26 – 28, 136 papers, 218 participants
